The St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School Mission Program (known by the acronym STAMP) hosted a dinner theatre and auction on Saturday as part of the group’s fundraising efforts. Funds are being raised to support the group’s upcoming service trip to Monte Christi in the Dominican Republic. During the students’ one-week stay in Monte Christi they will be providing English tutorials to the residents of a local orphanage.
Together since October, this group of concerned and service oriented students have participated in numerous activities including a team building dinner, a Christmas tree sale fundraiser, and a spiritual retreat. Other activities planned for the Mission Program include introductory Spanish lessons, and a variety of local service outings.
