Like Jessica Outram at Lessons in a Jar , Caryn Swark, a Grade three teacher at a Catholic school in Alberta runs a blog where she shares her comments on teaching. Also like Jessica she is a writer and artist and both manage more than one site, one personal and one of their writing/drawing.

Swark has http://carynswark.blogspot.com/ where an August 12, 2007 post titled “Schools Coming” opens

I went into my classroom today for the first time in weeks (I’ve been in the school, but not in my room per se — the caretakers have been busy!) The beginning of September (or end of August) is always a funny time for me. I haven’t had any school dreams yet, but I will! That’s how I know school is really about to start.

Then she writers at another blog titled “Brain Faith” where she has a post titled “God in School” where and writes”

I’m fortunate to live in Canada, where in some places publicly funded Catholic education is an option.

And then she has this little website “Caryn’s Corner” where she has posted an original comic strip.

Personally, I found having to navigate the three different sites a little confusing and would recommend merging them into one but it is nice to see another Catholic teacher brave enough to face the public and her peers through this often critical medium.
