“The Five M’s” of Catholic education in America

America the National Catholic Weekly has an article on Catholic education in that county “The Five M’s” by John J. DiIulio Jr. , author of Godly Republic: A Centrist Blueprint for America’s Faith-Based Future in the November 9th issue.
In it DiIulio claims:
The decades-old “crisis” is neither demographic destiny nor divine will. Catholic schools in Philadelphia and other cities can be saved, made solvent and strengthened managerially, and some long-closed schools might even be reopened. The five M’s for reviving Catholic schools are: mission, market, money, millennial and miracle.
I’m not sure I agree that with his analysis. I think I’d put more emphasis on the miracle part but here is wishing them good luck and good management.
